Synopsis: - Detectives Driver and Fields stay on late after their shift to follow up a lead on the kidnapping of Bonnie Lewis, but instead encounter Mister Freeze, who kills Detective Fields and taunts Detective Driver as he leaves. The police department get the officer down call just as the first shift are arriving, and the whole of the Major Crimes Unit is called back in to track down the killer. Detective Driver requests the commissioner not to bring Batman in on this, determined that the police department capture the man who killed one of their own, and it soon becomes clear that Freeze was taunting them for a specific reason. Later, Freeze's henchman is discovered by a uniformed officer, frozen from the inside out.
