Synopsis: - It seems as though both of the Major Crimes Unit's most important investigations are going to end in failure, and Lt. Probson is not at all pleased with the matter. However, some small inconsistencies regarding the Lewis murder case cause Detective Driver to connect the various threads. Harlan Combs, a notorious thrillseeker had, it seems, purchased the Firebug's old suit from him, and had been using it to seek new thrills as a costumed arsonist. When Bonnie was babysitting at his house, she discovered the suit, and he had to kill her for it. The two cases turn out to be one case, and before finishing early with Probson's permission, Driver cannot resist turning on the signal to inform Batman that the police took down Firebug without his help.
