Synopsis: - Two of the workers for Wonder Woman's Foundation are injured trying to help a woman flee the nation of Jarhanpur. This woman tells the JLA that Rama Khan, from this nation, has kidnapped her child. The JLA, hearing reports of meta-human activity attached to this, move in, but discover Jarhanpur to be a paradise of a nation. The boy has not been kidnapped as such, but is destined to be the next Rama Khan, the next leader of the nation. And should he not take up this role, the nation will no longer be a paradise: the leader truly is linked with the land. Wonder Woman does not believe this and the JLA are drawn into battle with Rama Khan and with the land itself. When she wraps him in her lasso of truth, she discovers that he is telling the truth. She finds this hard to believe, and the lasso breaks.
