HISTORY
Jothra was the elderly mentor of Medphyll, the Green Lantern of Sector 586. He passed away prior to what appeared to be an attack on their world. In reality, it was a visit by the Earth's Swamp Thing, who had not realized the plant life he was attempting to inhabit was sentient. The Swamp Thing instead inhabited Jothra's remains for a short time before returning to Earth.
