OVERVIEW

Kaffar is a planet in the 30th Century with an unusual superstition. As told by Saturn Girl of the Legion of Super-Heroes, the natives believe windows to be unlucky, claiming evil spirits would enter a home that way. Instead, they utilize periscopes from the tops of their buildings to see the world around them.
