HISTORY

Bart Allen is an orphan with an unknown past. Six months ago, he was left on the steps of Mother Bernice's Home for Wayward Boys. While possessing great speed, Bart lacks the skill in utilising it. His first outing as a hero ended in disaster when in the process of saving people from a house fire, he turned it into a raging inferno. Bart was then captured by N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and held along with many other young metahumans in their Arctic facility. He escaped with Solstice, and Danny the Street teleported them to Red Robin's Apartment. As Kid Flash, Bart joined the Teen Titans to fight Superboy, who tactility accelerated his body, leading to rapid cellular deterioration. Red Robin took him to Virgil Hawkins, a young metahuman employed by S.T.A.R Labs, who invented a new costume to realign Bart's cells.

Bart led the attack to free Superboy before N.O.W.H.E.R.E. could terminate him. During the fight, he experienced a flashback of sorts, showing soldiers striking men and women with energy batons. He and Superboy defeated a number of the N.O.W.H.E.R.E.'s men together: Superboy providing a pulse of Telekinesis, and Kid Flash taking them out during it. Soon after, Harvest captured all the Teen Titans. Apparently, Kid flash temporarily broke the control of Omen when she removed his costume, although this is probably just part of one of the many mind games she played.

During the culling, Bart was assaulted by Timber Wolf, who recognizes him of being a criminal from their time. Harvest also makes reference to his impulsiveness being "Not surprising due to your upbringing". He escaped along with the rest of the Titans to Mystery Island.

Bart and Kiran showed the beginnings of a romance while there.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Possess incredible speed of both movement and thought. Heals rapidly. His body suffers from cellular deterioration after a battle with Superboy, and is kept aligned by his costume.
