Lightning Lad first appeared in Legion: Secret Origin #1 (December 2011). First historical appearance was in (as Lightning Boy) Adventure Comics Vol. 1 #247 (April 1958); (as Lightning Lad) Adventure Comics Vol. 1 #267 (December 1959).
