- Story continued from the previous issue. The flashback takes place in 1987.
Synopsis: - Alice and Tilt survive the explosion only to find that it has awakened the Monolith’s adversary. Tilt tries without much luck to protect Alice. The monolith arrives to stop the evil golem from destroying them. A battle ensues where the iron golem smashes the Monolith to pieces. The Monolith reforms from debris from surrounding buildings into a larger more powerful version of himself. The Monolith destroys the creature, but at the cost of some of his power and so returns to normal size. Afterwards, Tilt begins to come to terms with her HIV.
