HISTORY

Monster World was originally colonized by humans, but they were driven off by the "weird, dangerous monsters' of the planet. Only ruins of their attempted settlements remained. In the 30th Century, Jungle King arrived on Monster World to seek revenge at his rejection by the Legion of Super-Heroes. As part of his plan, he used his control over animals to recruit a so-called Legion of Super-Monsters from the various creatures, rejecting those creatures he considered useless.
