OVERVIEW

After the brutal death of Alfred Pennyworth, the Batman of Earth -44 of the Dark Multiverse used Cyborg's technology to create an A.I. version of his friend as the Alfred Protocol. The program quickly decided the best way to keep Bruce Wayne safe was to exterminate any possible threats. Becoming the Murder Machine, Bruce was later selected by the Batman Who Laughs to serve Barbatos as one of his Dark Knights.
