HISTORY
- Murray Dent was the older brother of Harvey Dent, the man who would later become known as Two-Face. He was attracted to fire which ultimately brought about his accidental death as he led his younger brother into setting a room on fire. Murray was trapped while the seven year old Harvey, outside of the room, lapsed into shock and took no action to save his brother.
- This event destroyed the Dent family as their mother would later commit suicide and their father blamed Harvey for Murray's death. Years later, when doused by acid which scarred half his face, Harvey manifested a split personality based on Murray.
