HISTORY

10,000 years ago, the African Queen Nada fell in love with the Dream-Lord Kai'ckul (a.k.a. Dream of the Endless). Kai'ckul mutually loved Nada. But the Endless are not allowed to love mortals, and Nada's home village was destroyed – "eaten by the Sun" shortly afterwards.

Afraid of worse things to come, Nada left Kai'ckul, who was persistent and would not let her go. Finally, Nada committed suicide in order not to anger the gods further. Instead, she angered the Dream-Lord who condemned her to Hell for the next ten thousand years.

In recent times, Dream's siblings pointed out the fault in such behavior, so Dream decided to bring Nada back. At this time, however, Lucifer had abdicated and gave Dream the Key to Hell, while Nada was taken by demons. Ultimately, Dream saved Nada from the demon Azazel. He apologized to Nada, who, after slapping Dream in the face, forgave her former lover. With Dream's help, she was reincarnated as a boy.
