HISTORY

Growing up in Metropolis' Suicide Slum, Perry White developed a friendship with Lex Luthor, but when he became a reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper, he found out what Lex is really like and the friendship died. Perry is now the editor of the Daily Planet, one of the few newspapers known not to have supported Luthor's bid for presidency. His first love has always been, and probably always will be, the Daily Planet paper, and the truth it prides itself on reporting.
