HISTORY

The man named Kryppen a.k.a. the Poisoner is a madman in Arkham Asylum who used to poison all of his victims. He claimed Neron offered him world control in exchange for his soul, or more importantly, the soul of Batman. To this end, the Poisoner started a riot in the asylum which enabled him to get the chemicals he needed to concoct a toxin. Once in the evening meal, all except Kryppen fell ill and closing on death.

He called upon Batman to kill any one person in the asylum, and he would save two hundred others. The Poisoner did not take into account that Batman would feed him the toxin as well. Fearful of his own death and Neron claiming his soul, the Poisoner showed Batman the antidote.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

The Poisoner has no innate powers, but rather is an expert in toxicology. He is able to create deadly poisons from the most basic of supplies.
