OVERVIEW

An alternate universe version of Green Lantern Hal Jordan, Power Ring is part of the Crime Syndicate, itself an alternate universe version of the Justice League.

HISTORY

Hal Jordan and Abin Sur

The life of Hal Jordan of Earth 3 changed the day he took up the mantle of Power Ring. Given the emerald band by Abin Sur, Jordan was promised power and that he would never have to be afraid again. This was a lie.

Since becoming Power Ring, Jordan's right hand and arm deteriorated as the ring's influence spread. Jordan became part of the Crime Syndicate and turned to his fellow teammate Deathstorm for assistance, only to have his concerns dismissed.

The Crime Syndicate had to abandon their Earth to seek out another world to control. Power Ring reluctantly joined his teammates in this task.

Following the death of the Earth 3 Hal Jordan at the hands of Sinestro, Volthoom found Jessica Cruz as a new host.
