HISTORY

Half-brothers Wade DeFarge and Slade "Deathstroke" Wilson had always hated each others' guts, and when Slade married Wade's former love Adeline Kane, Wade went insane with hatred.

He kidnapped Slade's infant sons, Joseph (see Jericho) and Grant (see Ravager I). Wade's mother Frannie came to the rescue and shot his own son to save the children. Wade plummeted off a cliff and was presumed dead, but survived to become a mercenary. Later, he hired the Jackal (AKA Ravager III) to kidnap Joseph Wilson.

Still later, he adopted the identity of the fourth Ravager and executed several of Slade’s friends - including his own mother Frannie. Meanwhile, Adeline Kane (insane at the time) donned a Vigilante costume and came into conflict with both Slade and Wade. After the ensuing battle of the three mercenaries, the Ravager was captured and taken into custody by the authorities. His current whereabouts are unknown.
