RED DEER VALLEY | ATLAS |
HISTORY
The village where the Sioux American Ohiyesa grew up in the late 1800s. Leaving the Valley for the town of Elkhorn, Ohiyesa eventually became the 'Indian lawman' called Pow-Wow Smith (I).
In the 1940s-50s, a namesake descendant of Ohiyesa returned to his roots in the Valley, seeking to bring his tribe into the 20th century. He too became a lawman calling himself Pow-Wow Smith (II).
It is not known whether the current Pow-Wow Smith (III), active in Gotham City, ever lived in Red Deer Valley.
