HISTORY

The gizmo allows the Metal Men to shift shape in any way they want even though they are made from solid metal. Furthermore, 'faulty Responsometers' was Doc Magnus' original explanation the Metal Men's ability to think, feel, and act independently. Later, it was revealed that they were actually human minds in metal bodies.

Responsometers were part of most other constructs built by Doc Magnus, including the second and third Metal Men teams, the Gas Gang, the Inheritor, Computo, and Cliff Steele's second Robotman body.
