HISTORY

Salitar was a world that had just launched its first astronaut, Rinol-Jag, when the planet was struck by a massive piece of kryptonite equivalent in size and mass to Salitar iself. The world was destroyed instantly, leaving Rinol-Jag as the sole survivor. He landed on Salitar's only moon, which while uninhabited was able to support the lone astronaut. Rinol-Jag was later "rescued" by the space pirate Amalak and tricked into hating those of the planet Krypton, most notable Superman.
