HISTORY
This undersea foe faced Aquaman with his mechanical Scorpion Ship. He fell into a magical dimension, but eventually got free to face Aquaman again. Later, he wandered into Skartaris, and was transformed by sorcery into a scavager of souls.
Scavenger later helped Aquaman in a case, reformed and became a good friend of the hero. Still later, Hawkman exposed him as a child molester and pedophile who called himself the Barracuda, possessing great mental powers. In fact, he had evolved into a bloodthirsty Barracuda Avatar. A final face-off with Hawkman and Aquaman resulted in Hawkman killing the Scavenger.
