Synopsis:

Lois Lane and Black Canary encounter each other while investigating a group of suspiciously docile factory workers, and are captured by their evidently metahuman foreman. With the help of one of the workers, Lee, and a distraction provided by Oracle, they are able to help the workers break free of the mental control the Foreman has had them under and to give them hope.

Synopsis:

Deadman surmises that he might be able to gain eternal rest if he "hitches a ride" with a death row execution, specifically that of a man he believes to be innocent. However, at the last minute, he is unable to go through with it and abandons the man to his fate.

Synopsis:

Lightray discovers that a church has been set up in his name, whose members venerate him as the deity he is but also carry out good works, such as feeding the homeless. Coming to this church, Lightray shows them that the good things they are doing are far more important than paying homage to him, and they rename themselves the Mission of Light.
