HISTORY

Siobhan McDougal underwent a ritual which the menfolk of her clan had engaged in for centuries. This ritual transformed her into the Silver Banshee, a powerful evil being. When she travelled to Metropolis to procure a book which would giver her greater power, she had the first of several clashes with Superman.
