OVERVIEW

Sirius was a mysterious Old God in the form of a gigantic wolf who lived under the surface of Apokolips. He sacrificed his own life to save Orion.

HISTORY

Sirius was a mysterious Old God in the form of a gigantic wolf who lived under the surface of Apokolips. Contrary to the Dreggs (the animated corpses of the Old Gods), Sirius had somehow survived the destruction of the Old Gods and was both sentient and highly intelligent. Sirius roamed the underground tunnels called Black Ways as both their guardian and their prisoner, killing all who ventured down there, save for a young Scott Free, the true son of Highfather, in whom Sirius saw the potential for great good.

Sirius died while protecting Orion's life, thereby finally finding release from his eternal imprisonment.
