OVERVIEW

About seven years ago, former Navy lieutenant Celia Forrestal's parents were killed by Scorpio terrorists, after constructing the powerful Argo Harness, an energy-transforming device that was conceived as a peaceful tool, but had the potential of a destructive weapon. Surviving the explosion that killed her parents, Celia used the Argo Harness to avenge their deaths. On the suggestion of Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), she decided to continue her crimefighting as the super-hero Skyrocket. Skyrocket has now been active for years, but has chosen a career outside the limelight. Recently, that changed when Celia chose to join the Power Company, the corporate hero team, as a business partner.
