OVERVIEW

HISTORY

The self-named villain Steel Fury is a yet-unidentified man who had bought a suit of Manhunter armor off an online sales site Terrif-a-Bay. He could not get the armor to activate for month, then suddenly it turned on by itself without warning. A week later, he was terrorizing the streets of Coast City.

Now fully operational, Steel Fury was virtually unopposed until one citizen drove his pickup truck into him. The man struck Steel Fury across the face with a crow bar but only managed to scratch the red paint. Turning the armor's weapons on the man, Steel Fury was shocked to see the man not only surviving but absorbing the unleashed energy. The man was revealed as Green Lantern and easily subdued Steel Fury.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

The Manhunter armor worn by Steel Fury was painted a dark red, it is not known if this was done by the villain or he received it this way. As the Manhunters of that design, or similar, were fully functioning robots, it remains to be seen if the armor was indeed something to be worn or if a Manhunter unit had been modified to strip out components to allow for a human operator.

As shown, Steel Fury had increased strength and resistance to damage, though to what extent remains unknown. It is not known if the armor has flight capabilities The armor does have the ability to discharge emerald energy in the form of blasts from the hands.

The Manhunter armor's sudden charging likely has to do with circumstances yet to be revealed.
