HISTORY

Born in Wisconsin in 1912, Theodore R. Gaynor had been assigned to a classified special unit of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1937 to September 1939. In 1940, he was recommended to the Blackhawks to temporarily replace Chop-Chop, but was later expelled for excessive brutality. In July 1942, his body was found in the aftermath of the Siege of Sevastopol.

Recently, however, he was found to be alive and youthful, and attacked the United States using experimental Blackhawk and WayneTech aircraft. He was stopped by Batman, Lady Blackhawk and an elderly and reclusive Blackhawk.
