HISTORY

A warrior of the planet Valeron, Vartox became the planet's champion after his predecessor, Ontor, had been killed by an otherworldly serial killer known as the Anti-Hero. Shortly thereafter, Vartox encountered the villain Brainiac together with Superman and fellow heroes Paz and Vestion. A rough but noble hero, Vartox has developed a deep respect for Superman.

[The pre-Crisis Vartox had a long and rich history with Superman, while the stories of the current version are yet to be told.]
