HISTORY

The planet Vault, located in Space Sector 1800, was constructed as the largest bank in the cosmos. For countless generations, it securely stored the wealth of its depositors, remaining free of political alliances, politics, and war. Vault was protected by a powerful planetary shield, and its inhabitants, content with servicing the bank itself, lacked nothing.

One day, an elderly man, isolated in his life, yearned to see the stars unfiltered by the pink hue of Vault's forcefield. Unbeknownst to him, he was used as a pawn by the Cepheid Raiders, led by Bolphunga. A data incursion took down Vault's defenses, leaving the planet vulnerable to looting.

Vault's Chief of Accounts sent a distress call, which was answered by both the Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps. The Lanterns of Will and Fear successfully captured the Raiders with minimal casualties. Later, Lanterns Kilowog and Subject 82 were able to restore Vault's forcefield.
