HISTORY
After exploring their solar system and eventually the galaxy itself, the race known as the World-Builders sought a purpose in their existence. They dedicated themselves to populate desolate worlds however the work would be performed by other species.
The World-Builders would visit planets and abduct those living in poverty. Brought to a barren planet, they would supplied with tools and sufficient food to help colonize the planet. In seven years, the World-Builders would be given complete freedom and an unspecified bonus.
These actions did not go unnoticed as the World-Builders encountered members of the Green Lantern Corps across many sectors. It was the abduction of humans from Earth that brought them into contact with Green Lantern Hal Jordan of Space Sector 2814. After Jordan defeated the leader of the World-Builders, they agreed to grant freedom to the abducted workers, some of them from other worlds. Roughly half decided to leave with the other half wanting to stay and build a future.[1]
There have not been any further sightings of the World-Builders. It is not known if they still abduct workers or instead offer an opportunity on other worlds.
POWERS
The World-Builders possess advanced technology, but have not been observed to have any abilities greater than that of an average human.
