HISTORY

A rogue planet, hurling on an erratic course through space it may not have otherwise been noted. That changed when it crossed the path of a Zeta Beam between Rann and Earth. Rather than whisking Earthman Adam Strange to Rann, the beam carried a massive dinosaur-like creature which the Rannians dubbed "Zaradak" meaning "Terrible One" in Rannian.

The Zaradak went on a destructive rampage across Ranagar and rather than reflecting the energy blasts it threw the blasts back at the attacker. During the course of the battle, Adam Strange realized this but more importantly that the creature was hungry. Once they began bringing vegetation to the beast it calmed down and even became docile and friendly. It was not much longer until the Zeta Beam energy work off and the Zaradak was transported back to its homeworld.

COMMENTS

The name "Zaradak's World" was given by the DCU Guide as a reference point. The in-story name, if any, has not been given.
