HISTORY

The result of a genetic experiment at the Cadmus Project, Bette Noir is a gifted telepath trapped in a horrific immobile body. When she became able to project her consciousness outside her body, she began looking for a new host form. This was initially prevented by the Martian Manhunter, but she was later freed by Dr. Trapps to torture the hero. However, she now inhabits Trapps' form, forcing him to relive his most painful memories over and over again.
