HISTORY

An ordinary man, Dr. Larry Trapp was unhinged when his girlfriend was caught in the crossfire between the heroes of the Justice Experience and the villains of the House of Pain. Using his mental abilities and a set of brutal metal teeth, he killed off scores of those meta-humans active at the time, including all the heroes of the Justice Experience save Bronze Wraith, who finally brought him to justice along with the Justice Society of America. Years later, Trapp (now calling himself Dr. Trap) used Bette Noir to escape from prison, to punish Bronze Wraith (now known as the Martian Manhunter). His first target was the daughter of one of the heroes he had slain, Cameron Chase, but he was intercepted by the Manhunter, who turned Bette Noir against Trap to ensure no repeat of the escape attempt.
