HISTORY

Blume of Blobba was a self-proclaimed "God of Hunger" who travelled through space, visiting worlds and demanding sacrifices. The native populations would be forced to give all they held valuable to Blume, or else they themselves would be consumed. The value placed on the offering would be entirely subjective to the natives. On one world, the population offered its children as they had nothing else they valued. Mercifully, Blume returned their young and left for the next world.

Ultimately, Blume sensed massive power on the planet Okaara in the Vega system. Once more he demanded tribute, but to his horror found the possessor of the power was more powerful than he. Blume was abosorbed beneath the Okaaran soil, becoming a member of the Orange Lantern Corps. - Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps #2

As an Orange Lantern, Blume was utilized repeatedly by Larfleeze. He took Glomulus and the Sinestro_Corps_Soldier_of_Sector_2825 to name a few. Blume was one of many constructs defending Okaaara from the Guardians of the Universe and the Green Lantern Corps. - Green Lantern Vol. 4 #39

An orange energy construct of Blume was among the Orange Lantern Corps that attacked the planet Odym in an attempt to steal the Central Power Batterry of the Blue Lantern Corps.
