OVERVIEW

In Greek mythology, the three monstrous Hecatoncheires ("the hundred-handed") were among the firstborn of Gaea's and Uranus' children. Uranus imprisoned his terrible offspring in Tartarus. With his 100 hands and 50 heads, the giant Briareos eventually made a formidable bodyguard for Zeus.
