OVERVIEW
In Greek mythology, the three monstrous Hecatoncheires ("the hundred-handed") were among the firstborn of Gaea's and Uranus' children. Uranus imprisoned his terrible offspring in Tartarus. Cottus, the last of the Hecantoncheires, ended up behind Doom's Doorway on Themyscira, and was responsible for the death of Diana Trevor. Cottus was believed to have been killed by Wonder Woman during the so-called "Challenge of the Gods", but has since resurfaced again to menace the Amazons of Themyscira.
