HISTORY

Green Lantern Cossite was serving in the Sciencells on Oa during an attack by [[|Larfleeze]] and his Orange Lantern Corps. Though Cossite volunteered to remain behind to guard the prisoners as warden Voz led a group of Lanterns to defend the planet, this was not out of any sense of duty to the Corps. He had developed a romantic attraction to one of the prisoners.

Cossite believed the love he felt for Prixiam Nol-Anj was reciprocated. When the power ring of a fallen Star Sapphire sought out Nol-Anj, Cossite released her from the Sciencell, believing the ring proved her love. Unfortunately, the love she felt was not from him, and Nol-Anj used her new power to slay the Green Lantern.
