Comment(s):

Story takes place in November 1940. At this point, Hitler has not utilized the Spear of Destiny to create the Area of Influence which will protect Axis-occupied regions from the Allies super-humans.
The post-Crisis origin of the Justice Society, minus the Golden Age Superman and Batman, is told in Secret Origins Vol. 2 #31.
