Synopsis: - The GCPD investigate the site of the latest bombing - on a Coldwell/Ferris construction site. They also discover Alonso's body, leading the mayor to assume that Alonso was most definitely responsible and was just unlucky. Batman, and to a lesser extent the police, is sure that Alonso, and the entire Original Gothamite movement is being framed for this.
- Batman discovers that the bombs were carefully planted, by someone with detailed knowledge of demolitions and begins to check both Wayne Enterprises and C + F Constructions employee records for someone with the necessary skills. James Gordon, meanwhile pursues the insurance angle, asking first Lucius Fox and later Coldwell and Ferris about their policies. Coldwell is incensed and threatens to use his influence with the mayor against Gordon.
- Some time later, the police have had time to talk with Coldwell, and are able to set Ferris up for an admission that he was behind the bombings in order to receive a huge insurance payout. He is completely unconcerned about the deaths caused by the bombings, as they were 'only OGs'.
