Synopsis: - Batman and Robin assist in the efforts to rescue the inhabitants of a Gotham building from a massive fire, saving dozens of lives. However, they are unable to save a group of pregnant girls who were locked inside a bedroom in one of the apartments. The news is suddenly full of this story, and the likelihood that these girls were part of a 'baby ring', and Marlene Welles contacts the press to ask for help finding her missing daughter Cassie. Batman seeks her out, consumed by his own guilt in failing to prevent the death of young Haddie McNeil, and promises to find her daughter. Meanwhile, Penguin and Mister Freeze are drawn into the efforts to cover operations up after the exposure of the baby ring.

Synopsis: - The Freaks begin their investigations into TomJohn's death by gaining access to the autopsy report. They learn that the cause of death is not as it appears, and nor was TomJohn's identity. He was really Mikhail Tamyanovic, and was apparently supposed to be meeting Christopher Rowley in Gotham.
