HISTORY

A member of the Sinestro Corps, Filo was on Korugar when Sinestro turned on his former army. By cutting off one of the fingers on his right hand, Filo was able to free himself from his power ring. Others used the same method to avoid capture. Filo and at least ten others escaped on a spacecraft to hid within Sector 666. The plan was to rebuild their forces, possibly joining up with other survivors while out of reach of Sinestro. Instead, they became targets for the Red Lantern Corps.

Led by Bleez, the Red Lanterns made easy work of their powerless enemies, and took a number of them as prisoners. Filo tried to ally his group with Bleez based on their mutual enemies, but the Red Lantern could not be swayed. When Filo mocked Bleez's claim that she controlled the Red Lanterns, she incinerated him.
