Synopsis:

At the scene of the Mad Hatter's escape attempt (where the villain was seriously injured), crime scene officer Jim Corrigan discovers a cell phone hidden in the Hatter's cell's toilet. Unfortunately, it is beyond saving, but the full picture soon clicks into place when the daughter of Tetch's former landlady comes to speak to the detectives. When she was young, she was a friend of the 'geeks' and the girlfriend of the school baseball team's pitcher. He got her pregnant, but her mother believed she was raped and arranged with the Mad Hatter for the death of the entire baseball team. She is arrested, but there is another emergency connected with the case. Bullock still believes the Penguin had a hand in things, and attacks him again, holding him at gunpoint on a Gotham rooftop. Detectives Driver and MacDonald intervene, stopping him from killing the Penguin, and from shooting himself. And lastly, Driver is called to the hospital. Detective Patton has finally died of his injuries, and Romy Chandler needs his support.
