Synopsis:

Crispus Allen's body is discovered, along with that of Steve Long, who is found to have been killed by rounds fired from Allen's duty weapon. Captain Sawyer breaks the news to Montoya, and the Major Crimes Unit goes into action to track down Allen's killer, who Montoya is convinced will have been Corrigan. Corrigan, meanwhile, uses his network of connections within the department to ensure that they can't finger him. Even as some of these contacts are brought in for questioning, it becomes obvious that Corrigan is pulling the strings. And Dore Allen comes to speak with Montoya, saying that the work they do must mean something, must be worth it, otherwise Crispus died for nothing.
