- The dramatic conclusion to the 'Syndicate Rules' epic! It's the final showdown! The Qwardians vs. the Crime Syndicate, with the JLA trapped in the middle! It's a slam-bang, all-action finale with revelations and upheavals that'll change the JLA.
Synopsis: - The Justice League head to the Crime Syndicate's world, where the Qwardian Void Hound is doing great damage. Here, they force the Syndicate to ask them for a favor, the only currency that is absolute in their terms - and they ask it in front of their whole world, the conversation having been relayed via giant screens in public squares. The League and the Syndicate make a combined assault on the Void Hound, but it is one of the minds of the Construct that turns the tide. It tries to open a channel of communication with the Void Hound, a similar mind, but even though it fails to persuade the being out of its course of action, the link between electronic minds enables Green Lantern to absorb the Hound's consciousness in his ring. The Qwardian war machine breaks apart and they are forced to retreat. The Syndicate send the League back to their home universe, but know that they must grant the heroes a favor if it is asked. They also discover that their actions have sparked numerous rebellions, and that a regular invasion fleet has left Qward - their lives are about to become interesting again. Elsewhere, Metron watches the cosmic egg that houses Krona, wondering how it will develop.
