Synopsis:

Manitou Raven senses a great evil approaching, but does not have time to warn the JLA. Meanwhile, Batman spots a connection between the disappearance of numerous children, and when Flash investigates one such disappearance, he finds a symbol that Wonder Woman recognizes, but cannot place. Meanwhile, Superman is captured by a young woman able to compel people to perform actions against their will and taken to an ancient vampire. When the Atom takes a look inside Raven's telling stones he disappears, and a group based on Key Mordaz wonders whether to intervene. Later, Superman, under vampiric compulsion, attacks the JLA's newest member, Faith.
