Synopsis:

As Atom Smasher recalls the steps that led him to become a hero and to join Black Adam in Kahndaq, Eclipso taunts both him and Stargirl before disappearing from the scene. Although Hawkgirl sticks a spear in her eye and Black Adam breaks her neck, Eclipso appears unstoppable. Atom Smasher faces up to the Spectre, making a deal - if her will face judgement and vengeance, the Spectre will leave Kanhdaq alone. The Spectre does so, and as Per Degaton once predicted, Atom Smasher's heart seems to burst with sin. He falls to the ground, dead, as the Spectre disappears. Black Adam is able to use Shazam's lightning to revive Atom Smasher, who is taken away by the JSA.
