HISTORY

Sam Toth was a scientist who tested a particle accelerator on himself that transformed him into a silvery fog-being. He could regain solid form with great effort, but was beginning to fade away completely.

Turning to crime to find a cure, Silver Fog came into contact with "hero-dialler" Chris King who battled as Captain Electron. Chris' energy powers unwittingly cured the grateful Toth, who left his criminal career behind him. He was succeeded by Silver Fog II and Silver Fog III.
