In progress...

Need to figure out Earth #/name for all the stuff going on in this issue.

Any help is gratefully accepted!

I took it as whatever the current Earth's designation is, just "unrevealed" past events and possible future events. So unless there's mention of events occuring on an alternate Earth, just use the current labels. --DRMOUSE2814 (talk) 22:06, 31 August 2023 (UTC)

Personally, I'm getting closer and closer to the point where I'm not sure if having these separate designations really make sense and that basically what we have is a situation like with the pre-Crisis to post-Crisis universes where we don't really distinguish unless there is a very clear cut difference. Presently we see books that just as much refer to the post-Crisis Universe than it does the New 52 if not more.
So maybe it would be better to only have one profile for "main Earth" characters unless they are radically different, just as I don't think it makes sense to have several instances of the Earth 3 Owlman despite the fact that we know he's died several times over and been brought back whenever the universe has been reconstructed. I think that stuff like this might be better handled as part of the profiles. The only thing that's really holding me back at this point is that I'd like to be able to toggle between the different versions in the character image and personal data part of the profiles or something.
I am trying to look into some ideas but so far they haven't really worked to my satisfaction. I'd suggest taking a look at Template:TopPic to see one example. Unfortunately, the way it loads isn't very good as the page looks really wonky until all images have loaded. After it settles I kinda like the look and the fact that we would be able to link to any of the versions (mind you, this was just a test and I'm not sure I'd put the Golden Age versions along with the others for the reasons I state above. This was just a proof of concept, that still has some problems.--Tenzel Kim (talk) 11:04, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
