Synopsis: - In the aftermath of the battle with Ares, Princess Diana's badly injured body is sent to Paradise Island. The gods rejoice at the rebirth of Olympus. Zeus commends Wonder Woman and the Amazons. He sends Diana to Poseidon to be healed by his Neriedes. Hera, Athena and Artemis as well as Menalippe of the Amazons are concerned about Zeus' newfound interest in the Amazons. After she is healed Diana returns to Paradise Island. She asks her mother to allow her to return to Man's World to fulfill the mission Ares has set her and to heal Vanessa Kapatelis. Queen Hippolyta is reluctant until Hermes sends her the gift of his winged sandals as proof of the gods' blessing. Hippolyte sets a time limit on her daughter's time in the outside world. Back in Boston Diana uses a healing salve to cure Vanessa. She is short of time to accomplish her mission. The military tries to cover up the Ares Affair and Wonder Woman's involvement. With Julia Kapatelis' help, Diana hires Myndi Mayer, an opportunistic publicist, to help her get her message of love and peace to the world.
- In London, famed archaeologist, Barbara Minerva, hears about Wonder Woman's golden lasso and makes arrangements to procure it. Minerva is addicted to a drug that turns her into the feral Cheetah.
