Synopsis:

Black Canary's life has not been exactly great recently, lacking in direction, so Oracle hires her in order to investigate the rivalry between businessman Nick Devine and eco-terrorist group the Green Brotherhood, who seem to destroy every third world project he begins. In order to get close to Devine, Canary gets herself hired as his bodyguard along with Lynx, current Queen of Gotham's Triads, and makes her way to Bwunda, site of Devine's latest project, that of building a dam. On a late night reconnaissance mission, she encounters members of the Green Brotherhood planting a bomb on the dam, but due to an unexpected fight with Lynx, she is not able to prevent it from exploding, flooding a nearby village. Incensed, she and Oracle discover the truth behind Devine - he is carrying out sub-standard work, getting the terrorists to destroy it, and pocketing the surplus. They bring him down in England, after which Oracle suggests a 'vacation' to Santa Prisca, to crack a white slavery ring.
