HISTORY

Kyle Rayner died as did virtually the entire male population of Earth after a cosmic storm washed over the planet. A neighbor of his, Maria Contranetti, acquired the power ring upon his death.

The power ring was later taken from her by the Justice League and given to Barbara Gordon. -JLA: Created Equal #1 .
